The Gastronomic Culture Classroom Veronicas Market and the Department of Political Equality have today held a day with two women as protagonists cooks.
The star chef and the cook Delia Carrillo Torrano have offered a talk on women in the kitchen as a profession.
This activity is part of planned to mark International Women's Day, which falls today.
The aim is to show the contributions of women to the cuisine as a prestigious profession, as explained by the Councillor for Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero.
In addition, the Department participates in the Aula of the cycle Gastronomic Culture Kitchen Equality, wherein Centers for Women and women's associations show the typical dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.
