Beniaján starts this Sunday a popular mission (04/03/2014)

For three weeks, from 9 to 22 March in Beniaján (Murcia), Redemptorist missionaries invite men, women and children to share the gospel and deepen the knowledge, commitment and celebration of faith.

The sites chosen for the development of the meetings with the missionaries will be the three temples of the city: the parish of San Juan Bautista, the Church of San Antonio de Padua and the chapel of the Holy Family.

Antonio Garcia, pastor of Beniaján, remember that 18 years ago the residents of this town and lived experience, "and is remembered for a complete success by the large number of people involved."

Ensure also that this time the initiative has been enthusiastically received, highlighting the involvement of young Confirmation promote when placing advertising posters in shop windows, restaurants and neighborhood meeting places.

The first five days will be devoted to dialogue and reflection shared by the Christian family meetings in different homes to discuss issues of life in the light of faith.

In the second week will be held celebrations on Jesus Christ missionary, Father God, the Virgin Mary, charity and church.

Encounters with children, youth, families and older will also be conducted.

And in the third week, called post-mission, different groups of social collaboration and participation will take place in the popular religion, such as fraternities and associations of dialogue and Christian formation, liturgical participation and cultural activities and coexistence.

The pastor of Beniaján invited to participate in this popular mission to all the faithful of the parish, but also to all those who are far from the Church or who are from other places.
