The University of Murcia has participated in the organization of the Olympiad Philosophical, to students from 4th ESO and Baccalaureate and first took place in the region.
In this first edition, students enrolled in the 17 centers have competed in any of the three proposed methods: moral dilemma, and philosophical photography dissertation.
In the category of moral dilemma, with the theme "freedom of expression, the winner was Mark Sanchez Well, the Colegio San Buenaventura de Murcia, followed by Jorge Sánchez Canales, student from the same school, and Ana González Picazo, IES José Ibáñez Martin de Lorca.
In the form of philosophical photography with identical subject as above, took first place Angeles Patricia Celestino Lopez, Colegio San Buenaventura, being the second to Adolfo chair Aliaga, IES Alquibla of La Alberca, and the third for Rosa María Mendoza García , Ricardo Ortega IES Fuente Alamo.
Ranking dissertation on "what good is philosophy?" The first was the student of Colegio San Buenaventura Paloma Pérez Saura, while Maria Jose Sanchez Ballester, IES Algezares Basilica, and Iván Martínez López , IES Ricardo Ortega, were second and third respectively.
The first prizes for each mode will participate in the national phase of the I Olympiad Philosophical, to be held in Salamanca on 25 and 26 April.
Following the conclusion of the evidence, the faculty of philosophy at the University of Murcia on Friday hosted the awards ceremony, an act which was chaired by the dean of the center, Antonio Campillo.
