All political groups approved a motion that calls on the Department of Environment that extreme security measures and surveillance industries focus on the problem of odors in the districts of Sangonera la Seca, Javalí Javalí New and Old

The four local groups have adopted a motion in Parliament in order to urge the Autonomous comuidad to solve the problems arising in various districts of Murcia, especially Sangonera la Seca, Javalí Javalí New and Old, by episodes of odor emissions that occur periodically and whose focus is apparently the nearby industrial complex Sewell.

Thus, the Municipal People, the Socialist Municipal Group, IU-Greens and UPyD have approved the proposal to urge "the Autonomous Community which should provide mechanisms to move Derivatives Chemicals and other industries which may be causing the problem to industrial estates away from population centers "

Furthermore, while the above situation occurs, calls "the Directorate General for the Environment extreme security measures and surveillance on focus industries of the problem, keeping informed the City Council of the results of any check carried out on these industries "

Finally the motion included that the City participate "in conjunction with the Directorate General of Civil Protection in meetings with schools in the affected areas to report on the possible mechanisms of action in pollution episodes."
