The municipal group of IU-Greens in the city of Murcia has filed a motion in Parliament seeking the next fix a maximum period of time for the implementation of a 1986 agreement by an ordinance regulating the market of San Esteban.
Training has reminded the market that emerged in the late 70's, and its legal entity was discussed in a plenary session held on July 30, 1986, in which the obligation to approve an ordinance regulating such activity is established .
At this same meeting unanimously approved the granting of temporary permits for placement in the arches of San Esteban garden, until the entry into force of the Ordinance, yet to be developed after 28 years to take the deal.
IU-Green recalled that the Ombudsman of the Region of Murcia in 2010 issued a resolution in which it is remembered that the provisional nature of permissions is still in force as yet to be developed regulatory ordinance.
Tornel explained that the breach of the agreement by the City and the fact that the market was moved in 2009 to the Malecon Garden has caused the "loss" of a craft market that had a role in the town.
"Had it been properly served, the market would be today a very interesting business and tourist attraction because it has always been an incentive perfectly compatible with the rest of the small and medium business in the city."
The mayor has said that the "deterioration" of economic activity for traders since the move to the Malecon is necessary to find a location as close as possible to its original location.
Specifically, proposed Burruezo alley.
Also claimed the City Tornel model available facilities and distinctive brand that gives the market its own identity as a craft activity in the municipal ámbitro.
