Santiago García José Cremades, degree in Mathematics from the University of Murcia, and Delphine Rocklin, researcher for Ecology and Hydrology of this institution, are among the twelve finalists in the Spanish edition of FameLab, international scientific contest monologues.
This contest, organized in Spain by the British Council and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) assesses communication skills of the candidates to explain science to society in a fun and entertaining way.
The final will be held on March 21 in Barcelona and monologues, three minutes long, cover topics such as color blindness, the biological clock, the findings of Atapuerca or Fermat's theorem.
The top eight will advance to the final, which will take place in Madrid on May 14.
