The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, participated this morning in the presentation of the details of the grant of the Neapolitan crib García Castro brothers, considered one of the finest of its kind in Spain.
The Bethlehem remain a year in Salzillo Museum, thanks to a collaboration agreement with the city of Murcia which will display in one of the rooms of the institution.
It is the largest private collection of Spain which, along with the March Foundation in Palma de Mallorca, the Certosa of San Martino in Naples and the Bavarian National Museum in Munich, are considered the best in the world genre.
It is composed over six hundred pieces that have been collected during a lifetime, by Emilio and Carmelo García Márquez Castro brothers.
