Service Firefighting and Rescue (SEIS) Murcia City Council organizes a charity race to benefit the Vicente Ferrer Foundation with support from the departments of Safety and Human Resources and Equality Policy and Development Cooperation.
The race will take place on Sunday, March 30 in the main streets of the town and is expected to attend a thousand runners, not only adults but also children and adolescents.
The money raised in this edition will go towards building a school in the district of Anantapur, India, the cost of execution of the work is around 10,000 euros.

The tour will run through the main streets and avenues of the city, starting with the Garden Pier and through the Butte River Avenue Mayor Jorge Palacios, Ronda de Garay, Frutos Bishop Avenue from the Rector José Lostau, Doctor Tapia Sanz, Lieutenant General Gutiérrez Mellado, Alfonso X the Wise, Avenida Jaime I, Fuensanta Square, Gran Vía Sculptor Salzillo, Martínez Tornel Square, San Francisco plane arrival in the Garden of Malecon.
The total distance is 5.5 miles for each category, except for cadets, which will be 3,000 meters; infant, 1,500 meters; fry, 1,000 meters, and youngest, of 500 meters.
The race will begin at 10 am for the youth groups (1996-1997) Promises (1991-1995), Senior (1990-1934 years), Veterans 'A', 35 to 39 years; Veterans 'B' of 40 to 44 years; Veterans 'C', 45 and 49, Veterans 'D', 50 to 54 years, and Veterans 'E', 55 onwards.
The Cadets (1998-1999) will start at 11.15 hours, Junior (2000-2001), at 11.40; Alevín (2002-2003), at 12 hours, and Benjamin (2004-2005), at 12.15 hours.
The test will include a special category for firefighters equipped with tailored intervention (21 kilograms of extra weight) that perform the same route as the other runners.
This is a sport that only takes place in three cities in Spain: Barcelona, ​​Zaragoza and Lleida.
Fire Murcia seeks to turn this event into a meeting and coexistence among all citizens and emergency services and security in the Region of Murcia.
For this reason the finish area in the garden of the Malecon will become an exhibition, unpublished area in the region, the means and resources of all fire departments, both public, private and military of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

All participants will receive a bag with a shirt and other gifts, while the three winners of each category will be awarded a trophy.
The registration fee is ten euros, except for the categories of cadet, childish, juvenile and youngest, who is three euros.
There is also a 'dorsal 0' solidarity for those who want to collaborate with this project but do not participate in the race.
