The University of Murcia has signed an agreement with the German company Agaplesion by students from 4th grade Nursing practicum will perform in Germany, in hospitals and senior center dependent on this non-profit corporation.
The convention, sponsored by the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, David Armero, will also destined to foreign or other Spanish universities enrolled students at the University, and also promotes the development of curricular practices.
Armero stressed the commitment of Agaplesion by students at the University of Murcia, which will have to have an A2 level German, and his generosity in offering conditions as favorable in practice.
Agaplesion will pay during the six-week stay, the journey to and from the accommodation, food, transportation costs, uniform, along with a $ 50 weekly pay and the availability of both a placement tutor as of a contact person in Germany.
At the signing ceremony, held in convalescence, the home of the Rector, has featured the president of the corporation, Markus Horneber who commented the need for nurses at home and in their group, which has 19,000 employees spread in 29 hospitals and 32 nursing homes.
The ceremony was presided in the absence of the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, by the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Relations and Health Sciences, Manuel Vidal, who referred to the opportunity that the agreement offers prospective nurses to learn the craft, health system and a different culture and different language.
