The Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation, directed Alicia Barquero, has called the contest March 8 short story, which first opened its stake to all women of the village.
The purpose of the contest is to promote gender equality and rechado manifest any type of violence, from the literary establishment.
All women over 16 in the municipality of Murcia may participate.
The stories must be original and unpublished and should not have been awarded in any other competition.
The maximum length is six pages, double-spaced, on one side in Times New Roman, size 12.
Each author may submit two works.
The deadline for entries is February 20.
A first prize of 300 euros and a special mention of 100 euros is payable.
Participants work forward the original and four copies in a sealed envelope with a pseudonym on and inside the envelope photocopy of ID, name, address, phone and email are attached.

The winning works will remain with the Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation.
The jury will consist of relating to the world of creation and literary criticism people, and people from the Department.
The awards ceremony will be held on March 11, in the Hall of CAM.
