They increase the flow of international mobility of the University of Murcia (05/02/2014)

During this academic year 2013/2014, about 1,600 students were involved in mobility programs administered by the Department of International Relations at the University of Murcia, which is an increase over the previous year, both students sent and received.

Most students involved in mobility processes belong to the Erasmus program with 507 foreigners studying in Murcia and 509 students of the educational institution pursuing studies in any of the 300 European partner universities.

From outside Europe, primarily through the Erasmus Mundus, has received 20 foreign students from countries such as China, Thailand, India, Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia.

In regard to the program of Practice Erasmus have been sent abroad 41 students and received six foreigners, while also exited students Argentina, Paraguay, Mexico and France in the framework of other agreements curricular practices of the Faculty Education and Interjom program.

Main activity flows to Latin America, one of the areas of strategic interest to the University of Murcia, are given under the ILA program itself: the educational institution and receives sends 40 students from 44 Latin American countries.

Also notable trade with the Dominican Republic, where 97 students arrive at Murcia, while the Science Without Borders and Swallow programs encourage mobility with Brazil and Argentina, respectively.

With U.S. exchanges are conducted primarily through the ISEP program (19 students and 37 output arrival), although there are individual agreements with universities like West Virgina, Simpson College, Southern Utah University and Oregon State University.
