Councilman IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today denounced "unjustified delay and slow" with the company responsible for the maintenance of gardens in the town, STV, takes pruning and collection oranges in public spaces.
Tornel has drawn attention to the fact that the streets, sidewalks and vehicles "are exposed to falling orange", and denounced the "lack of maintenance" of trees, which prevents the normal growth of plants and "impoverishes the beautification of the street."
According to the mayor, the district Vistabella is in this situation, "so that pedestrians and vehicles share road uncomfortable with scattered fruit."
It stressed the "progressive neglect" of garden maintenance by STV, which began its contract "with a good display of resources and intentions, including a massive felling of copies during the summer to devote now watering flowerbeds and lawn mowing ".
"We've seen miss the Christmas holidays to perform this pruning on the streets where schools are located, and launch it the same day back to class, when students input, when most activity occurs in the area ".
To Tornel, this "betrays poor planning for a task to be performed in a very definite time and avoid the fruit falls to the ground."
