The Department of Environment initiated a varied program of activities for the months of February to May.
These proposals aim to promote information, awareness and environmental awareness of the population of the village, offering a wide range of thematic alternatives in which all interested individuals.
In this new period, the activities are carried out not only in the White Majal, as is traditional, but also in the new Center of Contraparada.
Specifically are scheduled for next quarter four workshops of nature eight guided tours and five activities of Volunteering
Seminars and Workshops Nature: Two of them held in the Nature of White Majal and two in the center of La Contraparada to address new issues in the hands of experts and in direct contact with the best-preserved natural environment of the municipality .
The workshops take place on Saturdays from 10 to 17 hours and registration is 5 euros (free for children under 17, over 65 and unemployed persons).

Environmental Volunteer We Pineapple: Continued Municipal Environmental Volunteer program with new activities.

School Gardens Program.
This course has started the sixth edition of the "School Gardens."

Green Schools Program: In its thirteenth edition the "Green Schools" program continues this year attending 19 centers motivated to continue with the educational process of the environmental audit to fully optimize the use of resources.
The topics in this course are working waste and noise in order to environmentally educate the entire school community to lead the management of the center towards sustainability.
Reducing consumption of aluminum foil, separation of waste and getting a healthy acoustic environment, among others, are some of the challenges posed by these centers.
Program "Talks, workshops and visits" on urban ecology: On the other hand, the scheduling of "lectures, workshops and visits" can work a selection of 12 songs on urban ecology.
Most themes are water, how to live caring for the environment and waste.
