The spokesman for IU-green in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, said today that does not give credence to the words of the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, because "so far has made no management" in defense of the burial of the railway passing through the town.
Herguedas recalled that the plenary session of the Murcia agreed in October 2012 to request the suspension of the contest project preparation for the arrival of the railway in surface, and the mayor promised to convey this requirement to the Ministry of Development.
"But now we have the surprise that this contest never stopped, the result being the award in December and the beginning of the works that have now reported the neighbors", denounced the mayor.
In this regard, he rejected "any attempt to disguise or reinterpret the work in progress," and insisted that "the technical specifications specified very clearly that the project has called ADIF is for the arrival of the AVE surface."
He assured that public administration "does not include an amount of goodwill or of bombastic statements, but facts, and so far, about the burial has not undertaken any action."
"It's - you have added the spokesman IU-Greens-the situation is now worse than last year, when I jump the alarm, as it has progressed in the opposite direction."
Herguedas has also noted that "from now the mayor not going to be worth more compromises, since its attitude between the submission and the omission has lost all credibility and only be saved if it takes courageous gestures and determined to defend the interests of municipality. "
