Teachers of English at the University of Murcia and Purification Sánchez Pascual Pérez-Paredes and the City University of Hong Kong Vijay Bhatia have been recognized with the "Enrique Alcaraz Research Award" by the work Researching Specialized Languages.

The book has been awarded ex aequo work Metaphor and Mills, Honest Herrera Soler and Michael White.

The prize, awarded by the European Association of Languages ​​for Specific Purposes (AELFE), is awarded to the best work related to the investigation of modern languages ​​applied to science and technology.
