Murcia City Council will renew its commitment to the 76 social centers for the elderly in the municipality of Murcia for a period of two years.
The partnership aims to provide services for the members of the different centers for optimal development and implementation of activities and programs for the promotion and welfare of the group of older people.
In addition to yielding the space for a period of two years, social centers will have to have a program of activities that fall within the socio-cultural recreational and training areas, and that are consistent with the aims and objectives of the statutes center.
To this end, it has also been given approval to the award of a grant for a year, which amounts to 22,500 euros.
The agreement for the 76 associations "Social Senior Center" of the Municipality of Murcia affects some 32,000 beneficiaries of seniors.
