Murcia City Council, through the Municipal Center Patiño, has organized the "Pelotas.mov" initiative, a mobile video contest bridging between local tradition and innovation making use of the creative capacities of citizens to register save an event in Murcia so ingrained cultural heritage as the Meeting of crews Patino.
The contest, which has no age limit, is provided with a prize of an iPad 16GB WI-FI Air + Cellular Apple for the winner.
This initiative is an opportunity for those who, because of age or use of the technology can be considered "digital natives", with the ultimate goal of bringing them closer to the local tradition.
To enter the contest is only necessary to record a video using a mobile phone between 9 and 12 January, a period in which to register both the preparation and holding of the Meeting of crews Patino and their associated events.
The basis of "Pelotas.mov" provide that only those videos up to 3 minutes in length that have been recorded with a mobile phone is eligible for entry, although subsequent video editing can be done with any other technology.
