As of January 8, the deadline to apply for open housing rent subsidies for people with low income.
During this year we have granted aid amounting to 295,000 euros, of which 123 families have benefited.
The objective of this action is to enable families enrolled in the Register of Housing Plaintiffs access to adequate housing on a rental basis.
These grants are a quick alternative to offer residence to families who are on the waiting list for access to municipal housing.
To apply for rental assistance must meet the following requirements:
-Be registered in the Register of Claimant municpial Housing.
Annual-income unit coexistence between 0.5 and 2.5 of IPREM.
-Being registered in the municipality of Murcia during the three years preceding the date of application (except victims of domestic violence).
That the annual rent of the leased property exceeds 25% of the annual income of the family unit.
The grant awarded by the Department of Planning and Housing, directed by Juan Antonio Bernabé, is between a minimum of 25% and a maximum of 75% of the rental price, not to exceed 2,609 per year.
The main groups that benefit from these aids are pensioners, victims of domestic violence who must leave their homes, single parents, families first access to housing, families evicted from their usual residence and families in support programs social.
