The Campus of the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia is already one of the places in our country that can be visited virtually thanks to the Google Maps application.
The UCAM is the first academic institution that has undertaken this innovative and pioneering initiative in Spain.
Through Google Maps you can view much of the campus, from the Plaza de San Antonio (Pergolas) to the inside of the Jeronimos Monastery itself, including the library or the cloister, among other facilities.
The 3D images are available as both web-enabled applications for Android and iOS devices.
Interested parties can access this path through the routine use of Google Street View, but they may do so by going to the Maps section of Google web and choosing as the search UCAM.
Among the results thrown an option called "see inside", which will carry out the virtual tour will appear.
Furthermore, it is possible to take a tour through Google Maps for the gym UCAM SportsCenter.
The shooting was done by the company Creatimomentum thanks to a camera that has a fisheye lens with a viewing angle of 180 °, a larger field of the human eye vision.

This initiative is part of the innovation in Information Technology and Communication (ICT) Catholic University is undertaking, and includes projects dedicated to online training as iTunes, the MOOC courses or Knowledge Pills, among others.
