The Center for Reconciling Work and Family Life of Juan Carlos I offers daily activities, non school hours, for under a hundred.
This equipment of the Department of Social Welfare and Health serves children ages 0 to 16 years offering a wide range of initiatives from 8:00 am to 20:00.
Activities are offered in 16 hours to 20 hours, for children 6 to 16 years.
In holiday periods such as Easter, Christmas, Spring Festival, June, September, etc., the hours are from 8 to 14:30 and from 16 to 20.30.
In addition, summer school takes place in July and August for children aged between 6 and 16 years.
The center reserves 5% of places for children with disabilities and 40% of children referred to Social Services.
Among other things, extracurricular activities, tutoring, specific activities for teenagers between 14 and 16 years service ce respite (for children who are not users of the center and can attend individual days), support services for teens, educational intervention offered , training of parents and specific attention to children with disabilities.
The Center holds two open days a year, and children's parties because of days like the Rights of the Child.
