The City Hall Annex building (popularly known as Moneo) premieres tonight ornamental lighting, installation and once the testing phase is complete and set
The lighting, made according to the design and under the direction of Miguel Angel Rodriguez Lorite, recognized expert and author, among other things, lighting the facade of the historic building of the Bank of Spain in Plaza Cibeles in Madrid, corresponds to the first stage lighting historic buildings around the Plaza de Belluga, culminating with the actions foreseen in the Episcopal Palace and the Cathedral Imafronte during the first quarter of 2014.
The design has taken into consideration that affects the performance is the main historic buildings of the city, protected by its classification as a Cultural and requires lighting that exalt architectural elements, symbology respecting their environment.
For the lighting of the building were used 48 LED projectors distributed in five rows, able to light with different color shades each floor of the building and the moat located in front of the facade.
Are scheduled eight scenes, four static (Journal, Spring, Easter and Community), three dynamic (Earth, Sea and Huerta), in which the color of each zone evolves in a cycle of 140 seconds and a last dynamic scene (Christmas) that encompasses in a single cycle of 420 seconds for the previous three.
This scene will be that will run from today until January 6, daily until 1am.
Despite the high number of projectors, the maximum power is less than 3500 W.
(Equivalent to the consumption of two electric heaters), have used the latest technology, in which predominates the energy efficiency criteria.
The installation is now launched, as well as under other surrounding buildings, it is at no cost to city coffers, since it is covered by the improvements offered by the company Electromur to award the maintenance contract street lighting in the period 2012-2015.
