The University of Murcia has given a plaque of appreciation to retired teacher Jose Antonio Campuzano, natural Archena and turned one hundred years last October.

The rector, José Antonio Cobacho said they wanted to show the respect he has for the institution's long career as a teacher Campuzano "in the service of others" as the plaque reads.

The honoree was embraced by a large number of family and friends in an emotional ceremony held in the building of the Rector of the University.
