The Union of Public Employees SIME yesterday elected unanimously to the new Coordinator General, Ángel López Sanandres as well as the new Regional Coordinating Committee, during the celebration of the Fourth Congress of the union, which is taking place in the town of Jumilla.
Under the slogan 'Progressing together, committed to the future', about 140 invited delegates elected Angel Sanandres as new General Coordinator for the next four years, who, in his inaugural address, appreciated the great work done by previous coordinators Alfonso Ros and Pedro López, and explained how it intends to address the major challenges that are presented to SIME in this new journey.
The event, held at the Centro Sociocultural Roque Baños de Jumilla, attended by the Mayor of the town, Don Luis Enrique Jiménez Sánchez, and various councilors consistory.
Manager also attended the University of Murcia, Don Pedro José Gálvez Muñoz, as well as representatives of major trade unions in the region (UGT, CCOO and USO) and the components of the Interregional Coordination of Public Employees CIEP (Alicante, La Rioja , Canary, Navarra, Zaragoza)
