The Library of the University of Murcia, Campus Espinardo, host until December 16 the exhibition "Travel. Spanish Architecture in the Arab world."
The show, created by Arab House and the Council of Colleges of Architects of Spain, showcases projects and architectural firms that have chosen Spanish internationalization in Arab countries.
Among them, work recognized architecture as Sovereign Nieto, Fenwick Irribarren, Lamela, Cesar Ruiz Larrea, Rafael de la Hoz and Campo Baeza, along with other young people, as in the case of AGi Architects, Hadit or AV62.
Also represented are some of the leading engineering companies, such as Alatec, Sener, Idom or TYPSA present in the region for several decades.
The show, which also collaborate Mediterranean House, the Instituto Cervantes and Tecniberia, not only to recognize the work of Spanish companies working abroad, but also wants to appeal to the potential of the sector regions North Africa and the Middle East.
The exhibition was inaugurated today by the Vice Chancellors of the University of Murcia Mercedes Farias and Gaspar Ros, the director general of Arab House, Eduardo Lopez, and the Vice Chancellor for Internationalisation UPCT, José Manuel Fernández.
