October has been a month of record in relation to the municipal public transport as passenger figures reflect a significant increase in the use of bus and tram.
Transport of Murcia last month recorded a remarkable increase in the number of users, up 42.9% compared to October 2012.
If the figure is compared to the collection in September 2013, representing an increase of 27.65%.
On the tram, also the month of October exceeded the barrier of 500,000 passengers in a single month, reaching 502 950.
Another important milestones is that for 17 consecutive days surpassed the 20,000 daily users who used the tram as transportation.
In addition, tram travelers record in a single day was set in the 21,568 of October 2, 2012, and this month, just last October 23, was exceeded this figure, standing at 22,659 brand new.
