The City of Murcia, through the Department of Environment, wants to give their support and appreciation for the company Murcia Levante Star for his commitment to improving energy efficiency as a means to highlight competitively, reduce environmental impact and make a responsible and sustainable use of energy.
Councilwoman Adela Martinez-Cache, wanted to be present in the delivery of the certificate management AENOR ISO 50001 Energy Star Lift Company to recognize his career betting on the improvement of the environment.
The mayor stressed the efforts the brewery being made and that are in line with the policy of continuous improvement of energy efficiency, resource optimization and energy expenditure carried out equally from the Local Energy Agency, which has been Estrella Levante working closely with policy of sustainability and energy efficiency in the city during the past years.
This certificate certifies that the organization complies with the requirements of ISO 50001 and has implemented an Energy Management that focuses on continuous improvement.
Its main advantage is that it helps manage and reduce energy consumption in enterprises, with the positive influence that entails in terms of financial cost reduction and emissions of greenhouse gases.
