Show the important role of women in the media in the region is the aim of the exhibition that opened today Councilwoman Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Waterman, in the Civic Center district of Carmen on the occasion of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The photographic exhibition was conducted by the Institute of Women on the occasion of National Conference on Women and the Media, and offers a vision of a representative group of women in this region contributes to effective equality between men and women from their posts work in print, radio and television.
The exhibition consists of 33 photos in 63x53 cm format.
The exhibition will be at the Civic Center of El Carmen, Monday-Friday, 11-13, and 17-20 hours, until 2 December.
This initiative is split of planned activities to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
