The City Council has approved the renovation of the main lobby of El Carmen market, improve accessibility with the installation of an approved vertical lift and disabled access.
The investment will be over 42,000 euros and lead time of 45 days.
Release of Saavedra Fajardo will reform the main access installing automatic sliding glass doors, matching earrings and pavement ramps for accessibility and safety in use by citizens.
Be allocated more than 167,000 euros and the work will last three months.
The Department of Employment, Trade and Company, directed by José María Tortosa, will also work in the food market of San Andrés.
These works are part of the plan for activities to modernize, strengthen and revitalize the commercial sector, with specific actions in the squares of Supplies for the removal of architectural barriers and improving accessibility in municipal markets.
