Murcia University has published the book "Legal Studies, constitutional and administrative, with special reference to local government," which has been dedicated to professor emeritus of that institution José Antonio López Pellicer.
The work, published in the collection of the publisher Munera University, EDITUM, is directed by Professor Teresa Navarro, who has coordinated a cast of collaborators-both academic and legal professionals, the judiciary and organs -Administration advisory specialists in public law.
The 19 chapters of the book address relevant and topical issues in various areas of law, especially administrative law, delving into the traditional categories of basilar and local level, major field of study of the honoree.
Before joining the University, López Pellicer developed his career as Secretary of Local Government to serve the city of Murcia, which gave it a life experience that after legal and administrative complement the performance of the judicial function as a judge of the Division of Administrative Litigation of the Supreme Court of Murcia.
After more than twenty years of teaching and research career at the University of Murcia, Professor López Pellicer treasures numerous publications on fundamental issues of administrative law, especially the urban area, which has become a reference for lawyers and professionals.
