Tomorrow, November 12, will open the exhibition which will group winning and selected works in the fourteenth edition of the Arts Painting Prize Murcia University, sponsored by the Foundation Vicente Fuentes, Cajamar and Murcia City Hall.

The award began his voyage in 1999-2000 and is endowed with 5000 Euros.

This edition had 113 participants.

The event will be held in the Exhibition Hall (2nd floor) of the Palace Arts Center Almudí to 20 hours, and during its development will be the delivery of the prize and the diploma.

The XIV Painting Prize Arts Area University of Murcia, was won this year by Simon Zabell, Malaga, for his work entitled "House of Hong Kong".

The jury awarded him two special mentions two other works: "Capital X" by Miguel Hernández Sáez, Valencia, and "Acid-house" by Fernando Vila-Belda Montalt (Keke Vilabelda), Valencia.

The Jury Prize for Painting XIV was composed by the Rector of the University of Murcia Cobacho José Antonio Gómez as Honorary Chairman, Martin Paez Burruezo, former director Almudí Palace Arts Center of Murcia, painters Pérez Antón Patiño, Soledad Sevilla Portillo and Rosa Brun Jaén, and Maria del Carmen Sanchez Rojas-Fenoll, Museum Director Pedro Cano Foundation White, acting as secretary Carmen Veas Arteseros, Technical Service Culture at the University of Murcia.
