Procedures have already begun to be put in place the works of the second phase of Multipurpose Hall which is part of the Urban project that the city of Murcia is developing in the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit.
This project, in its strategic line called "Urban Environmental Improvement and Waste Reduction and Treatment," includes as Measure No. 5 construction and renovation of facilities for social use and improvement of existing ones.
The works and equipment contained in this project will complete the possibilities Multipurpose Hall under construction for use as a performance space.
Currently, with the work carried out during the first phase, is provided for sports activities, and those contained in the approved project now, you will be able to carry out various cultural activities: theater, musical performances, lectures, etc..
And this is true in the sense that culture is the engine of change in the Urban Initiative that is part of the performance, and this project contributes to a space not available in the neighborhood, where a multitude of cultural events may have accommodate.
The second phase of this project includes the following works and installations:

Stage equipment installation.
Includes support system lighting poles, curtains and spotlights, mounted on rails that allow the movement of the rods at any point on the roof of the pavilion, where scenic activity requires.
It also will give the building a stage of removable modules give flexibility to their size and placement site.
Laterally sliding curtain systems that serve to the darkening of space and hide access to technical and artistic staff of the shows.

Installation of air conditioning.
Capable of providing the necessary building hygrothermal comfort for the public visiting the representations as well as the cast and artistic staff services.

Conditioning acoustic ceilings, nets and access control, providing a protective floor for sports and other complementary works to complete the equipment.
The budget works and installations to be performed is € 705,329.32, 80% funded by the ERDF, and the deadline for its completion is 6 months.
