The IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, announced today that his group will present a series of questions for which a crane work being done in the restaurant Baobar, El Malecon.

Tornel commented that "if we are to extend this restaurant, you will be taking over one more piece of the botanical garden which is owned by citizens in Murcia", while he assured that IU-Greens oppose this garden is destroyed.

He has remembered his training and explained that the strategy of authorizing the occupation of gardens and other public places for businesses catering "is an avenue to leave the Department of Environment."
