The University of Murcia will present tomorrow Wednesday, November 6, in aid of the call for research, Lavoisier Foundation which funds with the aim of supporting the development of doctoral theses.
The work recognized with the aid of 3,000 euros each, are "furanocoumarins of therapeutic interest in bituminous Bituminaria. Study of the biosynthesis and regulation" and "Study of defense responses induced by elicitors in plant cell cultures", directed by Professors of Plant Biology, University of Murcia Maria Angeles Pedroza and José Antonio del Río, respectively.
This call was attended by teachers who have conducted research on phytocompounds in 2013.
The ceremony was held at the building of convalescence, at 11:00 am, and is chaired by the Rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho.
