The City Council joins the celebration of the UN Day (30/10/2013)

Murcia City Council has joined the celebration of United Nations Day, an organization that contributes to peace and common progress.

UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the United Nations Charter.

Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Waterman, has presided over a ceremony in which students participated IES Francisco Cascales and consisted of reading the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the raising of the flag United Nations and placing a poster information on the organization.
