The University of Murcia addresses at a time the role of women in the Arab Spring (17/10/2013)

Excellence Campus Mare Nostrum (CMN), University of Murcia held on Monday, March 21, the conference "Women in the Arab Spring", bringing together experts meeting Arabists Mediterranean House, Arabic House Elcano Royal Institute International and Strategic Studies.

The event, coordinated by Professor of Arabic Studies at the University of Murcia Pilar Garrido, consist of round tables "Women's activism today" and "Women in the Arab Islamic world: tradition and modernity".

The event, which runs from 17:00 to 20:00 hours in the House of Literature, Merced campus, is free admission and free registration.
