"Exiled in art. Conversations in Paris with Jose Maria Alvarez" is the title of the book by Alfredo Rodriguez to be presented tomorrow, Wednesday October 16 at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts at 19.30 hours.
The event, organized by the Poetry Hall of Vice President for University Extension and eGovernment, involve, besides the author, José María Álvarez himself and Isabelle Garcia Molina, Director of the Poetry Classroom.
Born in Cartagena, poet, novelist and essayist José María Álvarez has translated the complete works of Konstantin Cavafy and other writers such as Robert Louis Stevenson, TS Eliot or Shakespeare among others.
"Wax Museum", a work that has been shaped over decades to is his most ambitious.
Other books include "The sets of Oblivion" (2003), "On the delicacy of taste and passion" (2006), "Drinking the moonlight on the ruins" (2008) and "The dark leopards of the moon" ( 2010).

He is author of the poetry books "with Alvarez save life" (2006), "The wrong life" (2008), "Back to Alba Longa" (2008), "Ritual of fighting naked" (2010), "From Gold and Fire "(2012) and" Urre aroa: six poets Naba Earth "(2013).
