The hamlet of Santa Cruz has welcomed today the XXIV edition of the Meetings of Auroros occasion of the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, which have participated Abanilla auroros, Sewer, Cup (Bullas), Lorca, New Javalí , Javalí Viejo, Rincón de Seca, Yecla, Caudete (Albacete) and Santa Cruz.
The Councillor for Culture of the City of Murcia, Rafael Gomez, wanted to join the celebration, and this morning attended the record-book presentation of traditional music Chronicles, published by the Santa Cruz auroros in honor of Professor Lorca Bartholomew Garcia, Bartolo known as 'The Portraiture'.
The meeting began at seven o'clock in the Old Chapel of the Rosary with the start of the Aurora sung.
At eight-thirty, in the parish church, has officiated a mass.
This new publication, "Chronicles of traditional music", is especially dedicated to honor a great friend and benefactor of Dawn of Santa Cruz, Professor Bartolomé García Martínez, thus fulfilling the commitment made last year, 2012, when celebrating the twenty-third meeting auroros local council and agreement of last January 6, 2013.
The book captures the happenings in batches contained in the blog in chronological order and in what type of traditional music Murcia concerned auroros the nun, the festive animeros and aguilanderos or controversy of the troubadours.
The third part of this publication, is dedicated in a special way to a great friend and lover of the many defining aspects, tangible and intangible expression of traditional and popular culture, Bartolomé García Martínez.
