IU-Greens claim that the neighborhood of Los Rosales takes over a month and a half without street lighting (01/10/2013)

Murcia IU-Greens has reported today that the district of Los Rosales of El Palmar has no street lighting since over a month and half stolen copper electrical wiring, and the City Council has asked how soon the problem if this have occurred in the city center.

"Once again, the districts are the forgotten for the PP and the Councillor for Urban Quality and Infrastructure, Ana Martínez Vidal, adds to the sloppiness that his political education for these areas is the municipality," he argued IU coordinator -Greens in Murcia, Francisco Muñoz.

For Muñoz, "the safety of residents is paramount and the street lighting is an important factor in it," but also considered "disturbing" effects of the lack of lighting in the face of trade or the right of citizens to enjoy public spaces.
