Following the success of the night visits to the tower of the Cathedral of this summer, the Cathedral Museum has prepared for the coming months new activities.
October, November and December will feature themed tours to discover the heritage of the Diocese of Cartagena, conferences and an artistic piece to highlight each month.
This coming Saturday will be the first visit subject to the Augustinian Church to discover the richness of its allegorical wall paintings, his famous altarpiece and sculptural heritage.
Every Saturday morning October this visit will be the price of 6 euros with early booking at the reception of the Museum or by calling 968 219 713.
The outstanding part of October will be the chasuble of Bishop Diego de Rojas Contreras, a fabric of mid-eighteenth century, the first part of the Royal Silk Factory Talavera de la Reina and example of the richness of liturgical vestments in the sacristy cathedral .
This piece will be on display at the Museum of the Cathedral during this month.
And on October 23, at 19:30 am, will be a conference "soft meum est Jugum.
