Councilman IU-Greens in Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today asked the City Council to enable a space for walking, leisure and emission pet droppings in the square of Camilo Jose Cela Vistalegre neighborhood.
Tornel, which echoed the request of neighborhood residents, indicated that this would comply with a city ordinance that states that the council will enable appropriate and clearly marked spaces for pets in the gardens, squares and public parks .
The mayor explained that the square is frequented by people walking their animals, which makes it "necessary" to clear a plot of Use to avoid inconvenience to other users.
