Councilman Juan Patricio Castro regrets that the PP take hold of one million euros of the fund to pay a judgment of the Supreme Court contrary to the City, rather than be earmarked as priority issues for the municipality such as unemployment or social needs
The socialist mayor Juan Patricio Castro considered very inappropriate the decision of the responsible of Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, to allocate no more and no less than one million euros Municipal Contingency Fund (€ 1,492,352) to pay a judgment the High Court of Justice (TSJ) contrary to the City and for LatBus on buhobús service.
"It is unfortunate that Martinez Conesa decide to spend this money to pay the wars of his friend, the mayor Iniesta, with LatBus, instead of covering other social emergencies" denounces Castro.
Most reasonably defends PSOE councilor would have been allocate 100% of the Contingency Fund to policies that create jobs - 46,000 unemployed in the municipality, or social needs of citizens which are many.
For Castro, the money to pay the judgment of the Supreme Court should have left the budget of the Department of Transportation and other items intended for lavish spending, travel, protocol, among others.
The sad thing is that after this decision wrong-Castro reports are only 492 352 euros for emergency aid social, even though the Department of Social Services estimated that 800,000 euros will be needed to finish the year.
Where do you think the City Council take the money needed to meet the social needs of the public until later this year, asks the socialist mayor.
