IU-Greens proposed change booths at the fair of El Malecon to preserve the botanical garden setting (22/09/2013)

Councilman IU-Greens in Murcia, Ignacio Tornel, today proposed changing the location of the booths at the fair of El Malecon in order to preserve the botanical garden, the heritage of all citizens in Murcia.

As explained Tornel, exposing pictures of impairment, activity in the orchards of El Malecon produces dirt and damage to the environment that is lethal to the survival of plant species that make up the garden.

Therefore, he asked the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Rafael Gomez, and Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, to study for next year a new location of these gardens in order to preserve the environment of the Malecon.
