The University of Murcia gets an award for sustainable development for smart grid energy saving (20/09/2013)

The University of Murcia has won one of the Sustainable Development Awards, convened by the region, for the implementation of the smart grid Socrates personalized management of energy demand, which allows cost savings by energy expenditure 75 percent.

This educational institution shared the award for eco-efficiency in conjunction with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, which featured a wireless communication system for energy efficiency.
