The photography prize XIII Area Plastic Arts of the University of Murcia, El Corte Ingles, presented on Thursday, September 19th, the winning works selected by the jury.
It will be in an exhibition that will open at 20 am and will remain open in the Shopping and Leisure Centre Shot until next October 7.
Your trustee is Francisco Caballero Cano, Coordinator of Visual Arts Classroom at the University of Murcia.
Among the highlights exhibits María del Mar Martínez Sáez, resident in Lo Pagán (Murcia) winner of this edition, for his work entitled "Gabriel".
The prize of 1200 euros, is sponsored by El Corte Ingles SA
The jury awarded honorable mentions Calabuig works Mariano Soler (Los Alcazares, Murcia), Jose Ramon Moreno Fernández (Zuera, Zaragoza), Esther Marin Travel (Murcia) and Juan José Martínez Marco (Yecla, Murcia).
This edition has had the participation of 68 photographers who have contributed 217 works, of which 60 works selected by the jury will be exhibited at the show.
The decision was made public last May at the offices of Campus Culture Service of Mercy.
The jury, chaired by the Rector José Antonio Cobacho, had the vocal Enrique Martinez Bueso, Photographer's Journal Truth; Avelino Marin Meroño, Art Collector, M ª Angeles Sánchez Rigal, Director of the Art Gallery Art-9; Juan Jose Ballester, photographer and Professor of Criminology at the University of Murcia, Domingo Campillo Garcia, professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
He served as secretary of the jury Carmen Veas Arteseros, head of Cultural Activities.
