Cleaning Service City of Murcia collects about 35 tons of trash on the occasion of the pilgrimage of the Fuensanta (18/09/2013)

The Department of Urban Cleaning and Waste Management, led by José Ros, has collected about 35 tons of barusa to celebrate the day of the Pilgrimage of Fuensanta.

The service launched a special service that allowed for the cleaning of the areas around the sanctuary before the rise of Virgin and travel immediately after the passage of the pilgrims and that continues to this Thursday19 September.

A total of 120 people, including operators, drivers and foremen, conducted from Monday night cleaning work areas used the pilgrims.

The machinery used was composed of 24 sweepers, 4 trucks, 8 flatbed trucks for unloading the sweepers and 6 collectors, which allowed 100 empty containers ready for use by pilgrims.
