The Ministry of Presidency launches a special device more than 60 people to ensure the preservation of the natural environment in the Regional Park El Valle and Carrascoy and urgent attention to any possible emergency, on the occasion of the celebration of the pilgrimage of the Virgin of Fuensanta.
The operation intended to protect the natural environment, which begins this afternoon at 16:00 hours and ends tomorrow Tuesday, September 17, at 20:30 pm, will consist of environmental agents, forest brigades, visitor information services , maintenance and cleaning.
During the celebration of the pilgrimage, part 23 environmental agents belonging to the counties of White, Cieza, Lorca, El Valle, Caravaca de la Cruz and special brigades Espuña and Environmental Agents Corps, as the Brigade of Hunting and Fishing, Brigade Brigade Equestrian and Wildlife.
The agents will visit different areas of the Regional Park and service areas to provide information to citizens and to avoid actions that may result in fire.
These works are joined by two Brigades Terrestrial Forest Fire (BRIFOR), equipped with a truck and two 4x4 vehicles and formed by 12 specialists in fire fighting, and four Rapid Intervention Brigade (BIR), provided with a 4x4 vehicle with capacity of 400 liters of water and three experts in fire fighting at each Rapid Intervention Brigade.
A sergeant and two heads of Corps District Environmental Agents will be responsible for coordinating the operating and transmitting instructions for his intervention.
All involved staff and means will be coordinated by the Unit of Meteorology and Transmissions (UMMT), which will provide the location of the same signal in the area through Global Positioning System (GPS) and inform all times responsible for the coordination and forestry coordinator.
This unit will be in the Unified Command Post will be located on the esplanade next to the Shrine of Our Lady of Fuensanta.

The Visitor Centre 'The Valley' will have a special schedule adapted to the citizens participating in the pilgrimage of the Virgin of Fuensanta and open from 8:00 to 15:00.
With the aim of promoting among visitors a greater awareness of the environment in which they are found, will install a point of information, from 8:30 to 14:00 am at the crossing of the Theatines.
The maintenance and cleaning of the regional park is an important factor in the mechanism provided by the Ministry of the Presidency, which will provide four maintenance and cleaning equipment to meet the immediate needs that may arise in their field and maintain clean hits on the points most visited.
