The Murcia town of San Pedro del Pinatar hosts next week the XXXIV Congress of the Spanish Society of Pharmacology, who has organized the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Murcia.
From 16 to 19 September, at conferences and roundtables scheduled topics include advances in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, the use of anticoagulants in heart disease and the role of orexin system in the wake cycle -Sleep and nicotine addiction.
It will also address, among other issues, therapeutic innovations in oncology, hepatitis C and type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as matters relating to the future of teaching in pharmacology and academic careers of young researchers.
The sessions of the Congress of the Spanish Society of Pharmacology, which turns to be held in the Region of Murcia after 25 years, will take place at the Hotel Mercure Thalasia.
