San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) inaugurated this morning the First International Conference on Language, Literature and Cultural Studies in Modern Languages.
In the event, to be held on 12 and 13 September at the University, are present multiple world-renowned experts, including Jörg Roche, of the Ludwig-Universitat Munchen Mximilians.
The conference is particularly aimed at researchers and teachers who are working on issues related to culture, literature, and applied linguistics.
According to the coordinator of the Conference, the Director of the Department of Languages ​​of the UCAM, Thomas Schmidt, the objective of this meeting, "We are very proud to have organized this event because it is a continuation of other conferences we had in previous years at the University; especially in this edition have been strengthened international exchanges and projects with other universities in the field of research. "
Moreover, Schmidt has said that this conference "promotes both research and the internationalization of the UCAM, and positive impact on the teaching of languages ​​taught at the University."
Tomorrow at 9.30 pm there will be a plenary lecture by the renowned linguist David Walton in the Chapter.
Then, throughout the day, will develop multiple workshops on the issues raised at the symposium.
