The Monument of St. John of God today welcomed exposure sculptor, painter and restorer Murcia Arturo Serra 'Work Sacra'.
The Director General of Cultural Assets, Francisco Gimenez, inaugurated tonight, at 20.00 hours, the sample on display until October 13.
The exhibition features six reliefs depicting scenes from the life of Jesus.
Three of them are made of bronze and belong to the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene (Makos) of Cartagena.
This is 'The Prophecy of Simeon', 'The Flight of Egypt' and 'Jesus lost in the temple'.
The other three are terracotta reliefs 'Meeting on the Via Dolorosa', 'Calvary' and 'Mercy'.
Also, in 'Sacred Work' can be two sculptures: 'Angel of Prayer in the Garden', belonging to the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Tobarra, and 'Risen Christ', of the Brotherhood of Jesus Apprehended Jumilla.
The show also has a picture of Solitude, made on purpose by the artist for the exhibition and is complete with an audiovisual work of Arturo Serra.
The schedule of the shows are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 13:30 and 17 to 20 hours.
Sundays and holidays from 10 to 13:30.
