The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has described as "excellent news" the decision of the Ministry of Development to initiate public information process mapping project "Northern Arc" and "Arc Northwest", with a budget of over 300 million euros.
Chamber notes that there has been two performances this momentum despite the current difficulties for new investments, while expressed his hope that the conclusion of the exhibition period "continue virtually without delay to the recruitment process."
Also, the Mayor has indicated that the construction of both roads will improve accessibility and permeability of the township from north to south and our connections with the outside.
Thus, both actions will be fundamental to download traffic intensity that currently support other channels, especially the section that share the A-7 and A-30, and Ronda West, which last year recorded a daily average near 115,000 vehicles.
The Northern Arc project plans to reduce traffic in the stretch shared by the A-7 and A-30, since it will practically separate urban traffic with long distance between Andalusia and Alicante.
With a length of 17.10 kilometers and an investment of 160 million euros, the road stretching into the A-7 from the link to the Sewer of Cabeza de Torres, thereby affecting the municipalities of Murcia and Molina de Segura .
For its part, the Arc Northwest, with a length of 21.7 kilometers and a budget of 147 million euros, divert traffic from the A-30 from the North to direct to the ring road, relieving Ronda Oeste, especially the height of El Palmar, Ronda Sur and Juan de Borbón.
In this case, the works would affect the towns of Murcia, Molina de Segura, Lorquí, Ceuta, Villanueva, Alguazas Cotillas Towers, Murcia and Sewer.
Both projects have public information within 30 working days from tomorrow.
